Well, if you didn't know, my goat, Bella, is due to have a kid any time now. Yikes. So, I've been so busy worrying about what I need to round up, that I haven't come up with potential names yet.

So, what I'm gonna do is...HAVE A NAMING CONTEST!!!!!!!! Whoot!!!

So, "the its", need names. I don't know if there will be two goats or one and what gender they will be, so if you could please give me ideas for names that'd be great.

I need~
Two girl names
Two boy names

Please and Thank you! I will give an award thingy to the top two names in each category. So, yeah, thanks!!!

P.S., the mom's name is Bella (Isabella), and dad's is Edward. She's white with black spots and he's black with some white spots.

Operation Expression: Accomplished

Well, after a couple of months i finally did it. I have created the DBZ (Dragon Ball Z) version of SgtDub, I tried to draw a realist-er version, and it's taking me forever to color! So here is the Comical SgtDub by his own daughter. Hope you like it.

I scanned it after I drew it with pencil, then I popped it onto paint, and colored it for what seemed like an eternity!

Pencil sketch: 10 min.

Coloring: 4 hours

Background: 2 min.

Can you see the difference? I mean, totally awesome picture and a really crappy bg, it's bugging me so bad, i might fix it later on, but not now.

Anyway, i better get off soon, i have to help out my grandparents with a garage sale tomorrow morning, ugh, i wanna sleep in!!!

Well, be safe and have a good day, hope you like it Dub!

p.s. I recommend that you click on the pic so it enlarges, it's allot better to see everything that way, and it's not so fuzzy.

Dear Solider Responses

(4-17-07) Well, I'm finally getting my blog updated after such a long time. I'm sorry about the wait. As most of you know, either do to my mom or dad's blog, I wrote a letter to a U.S. solider. If you haven't read it, here it is for the whole world to know.

"Dear U.S. Soldier,

My name is ______, and I would like to thank you for all that you have done for our country. I know what your family is going through with you half way around the world, only able to talk to them every few days, sometimes longer. My dad is with the 45th infantry and the 180th infantry from Oregon. This is his second tour to Afghanistan. I really appreciated everything you are doing to help keep this great nation free.

I hope you and your comrades are kept safe. Our prayers are with you and the rest of the troops. I deeply cherish the sacrifice you make on a daily basis to be away from your family, friends, home, and country. I know it's hard, but you seem to always keep strong and never give up. This country may have some people who don't appreciate what you are doing, but know that everything you do is for a good cause. To keep America the land of the free and the home of the brave.

when you troops come home, you help make it the home of the brave. I don't go to at night without praying for you and the others serving with you. I can't wait till you and your comrades can come home to your families! It will be such a joyous reunion.

So, with that said, I thank you again for everything you have done in order to keep this great nation free. You of all people know that freedom is never free. I hope God keeps you safe throughout the rest of your deployment.

God bless you, your comrades, families and everyone else serving to endure and protect freedom.

So, I've read lots of things and comments saying how well I write. I don't try to write well, and I don't really think about it, I just put my thoughts that I tend to keep all to myself on paper. That is how I feel about the United States troops that are defending or have defend and are in future times, going to defend freedom, liberty, justice, & the pursuit of happiness.

I offer all sincere thanks to everyone who supports the troops and most importantly, the troops themselves. If your against the war in the middle east, and you carry around your protest signs, saying that it's wrong and that we should have them stay home, who do you think is providing the freedom of speech that you have to carry that sign?

How much do you value your freedom? Would you bite your master's hand if he gives you the best things that he can offer? I would hope not.

They are defending our country, our freedom, our homes, our families, our jobs, our schools, our friends, our coworkers, everyone. Even those who do not support them. They are doing this to ensure that you have rights that a human deserves!

As you read this, I want you to think about the last time you went up to one of our solider boys and shook his hand, looked him in the eye, and said, "Thank you". When was that? Maybe you haven't ever said thank you to a member of the United States military? I know that it makes them so happy when people do that, random strangers walking the streets will come up to them and even do that. They don't care who! I want to do that for them if you could.

Thank you. I am very proud of our military. I hope you are too. Here are the lyrics to one of my favorite songs, "American Solider" By Toby Keith.

I'm just trying to be a father,
Raise a daughter and a son,
Be a lover to their mother,
Everything to everyone.
Up and at 'em bright and early,
I'm all business in my suit,
Yeah,I'm dressed up for success,
from my head down to my boots.
I don't do it for money
there's bills that I can't pay.
I don't do it for the glory,
I just do it anyway.
Providing for our future's my responsibility,
Yeah I'm real good under pressure,
being all that I can be.

And I can't call in sick on Mondays
when the weekends been too strong,
I just work straight through the holidays,
And sometimes all night long.
You can bet that I stand ready
when the wolf growls at the door,
Hey, I'm solid, hey I'm steady,
hey I'm true down to the core.

And I will always do my duty,
no matter what the price,
I've counted up the cost,
I know the sacrifice.
Oh, and I don't want to die for you,
But if dyin's asked of me,
I'll bear that cross with honor,
'Cause freedom don't come free.

I'm an American soldier, an American,
Beside my brothers and my sisters
I will proudly take a stand,
When liberty's in jeopardy
I will always do what's right,
I'm out here on the front lines,
So you can sleep in peace tonight.
American soldier, I'm an American,

American Soldier,
An American

Till next time,
God Bless America.

Bridge to Terabithia

SPOILERS!!! (DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET!!!)

(3/22/07) Well, we went to go see "Bridge to Teribithia" last night and I have to say, that was the most I have ever cried about a movie. It started out pretty good but about a 1/3 of the way through the boy (Jess) is invited to go to the art museum with the kids' music teacher. Before that he was just some nobody without any friends who always got pushed around. Then Leslie (AnnaSofia Robb) moved next door to him and she noticed his drawing abilities. They become friends and create the imaginary world of Terabithia. (Picks up at intro)When he and the teacher are pulling out onto the driveway, he takes a long look out at her house and the teacher asks if there was anything he forgot. He turned and said no. When he got back home, his parents and 4 sisters where having a fit. They thought he was dead. When he asked why, they told him that Leslie had drowned in the creek when the rope that they had used to swing across broke. He flipped out and was acting as if she was still alive when they went to pay their respects. It didn't seem to sink in yet.

When his little sister Maybelle, tried to follow him to Terabithia after Leslie's death, he shoved her down and she went crying to their dad. When he was there, he saw the "dark master", chasing him. It was his dad and then it sank in about Leslie and it all being fairytale, but he still believed. After he saw that her parents where moving, he asked if he could have the leftover wood. He built a very nice looking bridge (hint, hint) and made it up to Maybelle by taking her to Terabithia, she was made the princess and he was the king. END SPOILERS!!!

Once you started crying, you couldn't stop. I cried for at last an hour. Just really depressing. I am pretty 50/50 about it. It was a good movie, I just don't like crying, so yeah...

I got the contacts in in under 10 minutes!!! WHOOP!!! YAY!!! We are getting the goats, my mom refuses to have anything to do with them and I've official lost count of how many times they've both said that. ;p I WILL take care of ALL MY pets. (This excludes Jake and Misty; I take care of them too! Mom feeds my horse and dog though, so it's even.) I get to scoop the litter box, feed in the evenings, and fill the food bowls when they are empty. Who says I don't help with my pets? I've been spending a lot more time with my horse. We've been getting along better too!

Well, I'm gonna go build a hutch thingy for the goats. I will get pictures of them soon. Promise. So, talk to y'all later!

God Bless and be safe!

Yes, I'm alive...

(3/21/07) Well, it's been a long time since I updated, and looky there, it's time for diner.
*15 minutes later ad stuffed* Well, that was good. We had mashed potatoes, carrots, meatloaf (yuck) and bread. It was pretty good.

Well, all is good with Two Bit (my horsey) and we've been riding quite a bit lately with my BF who's b-day's coming up, in like, a week. I hope he likes her gift. He he. One the subject of animals, guess what I'm getting. I've talked and presented my way into getting Mrs.Dubs permission to get 2 baby pygmy goats from my neighbor. He is so awesome, he's actually giving them to me. He's awesome. We got our barn for the horses from him too.

I hope I didn't offend anyone with my comments on my parents blogs when they tag-teamed me with that teenage daughter stuff. I was being rather hot-headed.

Well, good news, I finally got contacts. The only prob is their a pain in the neck to put in. I'm getting better though. It's only my third day with them on, I have to say, they are very nice.

Well, me and the grandparents are gonna go see "Bridge To Teraithia" tonight. So, I'll let ya go for now, I can't wait to post abut the movie.

Be safe and God Bless,

~Miss Dub ;}

Paybacks' a Mother...so don't mess with the daughter...

Well, I'm sure that you've all read my mother's stereotypical, degrading blog this Thursday morning. I would like to get a few things strait. That was all lies excepting #'s 3&4. I'll tell you what I think about those accusations towards your average teen. Here's my question; when have I ever been average?

In response to:
1.)I do NOT wear an over excessive amount of make-up, I DO wear clothing that covers me, I do NOT ask to borrow money without paying you back, and I do NOT sleep in a burrow of dirty clothing.
2.)I act normal; you're just paranoid
3.)True
4.)What does "shutdown" mean? It's not in my dictionary...
5.)I do NOT take a shower more than 25 minutes long and do NOT use all of the hot water. You are the one who bought me the soaps in the first place, it wasn't my idea. I like them, of course, but you can't complain. That was your own doing. I DON'T use the same shampoo as you because you have to have your own kind, I just pick out whatever. I don't need to deal with hair loss/ and or gray hairs...
6.) You CAN be seen with me in public IF you look nice and up to my standards for your age. I am terrified of your cooking, therefor, it's drive-through. Get used to it! ;p
7.) When have I ever dressed like a"lap dancer"? I don't even show skin except for an occasional low cut blouse with a tank-top underneath. I pick out my own clothes, you'd be the one trying to coax me into something, "cute". Remember the whole age difference? Yeah, that effects style.
8.) That'd be "Ultra-High"...
9.)Just remember, I had to get it somewhere. And the fingers' being pointed at you. I can't imagine what you where like. Poor Nana...

And so, who still thinks that teenage daughters are that horrid? Just remember, you used to be like that, if not worse...

Be safe and have a good day,
and remember, be nice to teenagers, you've told us your embarrassing stories...

Opperation; Expression!

(1/29/07) Hey everybody! What's up? Well after we finally got back into school, after 5 school days out, I made a new breakthrough in my boring computer schedule. Yesterday, my dad, Sgt Dub, gave me a challenge; to draw a picture of him in my "style" of drawing.

I finished the pencil draft last night in about an hour. Tonight I will be trying to transfer it to paint. It won't be easy. But, I like a challenge. I can't wait to see how it turns out. So, it's safe to say that it will most likely be posted in a few days.

I have a challenge for YOU! I want you to click on the link bar over there and go to 'Miss Dubs Stories'. I want you to read and review my stories. I would love it if you commented on every chapter. Writing is one of my passions and the style I use is modern with a little descriptive 1900's writing techniques. I hope you enjoy them! Sgt Dub does!

Be safe and have a good day!

Ara Kami-sama! When Will It End?!

(1/19/07) To translate that into English, it would be; Oh My God! When Will It End?! It's now day 8 of sheer ice, tonight we are expecting around 6-10 inches of snow, Yay! Not. The only reason I haven't gone insane with chill is because I was out busting my butt running on the ice like a mad person (when no one was looking ;p ). It's cold. I don't like cold.

Well, we've been out of school for a week now. I've been out since Friday. It was amazing, during 3rd hour English, at least 5 kids got checked out of my class in a time span of 7 minutes tops. So, we now have to stay with school an extra 4 days. Not fun! I don't wanna be stuck there till June!

Not much else going on, watching 'Memoirs of a Geisha' on my new portable DVD player I got for Christmas. Come to think of it, where was all this blasted snow at Christmas time?! I swear if that stupid groundhog sees his flippin' shadow...[insert death threat to poor defenceless mammal]

Ugh, it's so cold. It does make you think though, while I'm in here, nice and warm, there's people out there who have to stay outside in it, who don't have family or friends to look out for them and to help them, who refuse help because of arrogance or pride. That's what the care houses are for, but so many of them refuse to go. It's bewildering to me why they can't go and stay at these places where a warm bed and a hot meal can be acquired. I know that they probably fill up fast during weather, but the ones turned away, how do they make it?

After thinking about that, it makes me refer you to go a see a very good movie that illustrates just that, I want you to go and see, ''In Pursuit of Happyness' (spelled that way). It's such a cute movie that really opens your eyes. It'll make you laugh, and smile, and maybe even cry. It's a must see.

Be safe and have a good day,
Miss Dub

Geography Bee outcome

Well, let's say that I refuse to ever go to Guatemala. I didn't win the geography bee, but I did, however, get 3rd place. My friend's sister is my hall's rep. and she will be going all the way to compete in Tulsa for the state rounds, if she wins there she gets to go and compete in Washington, D.C. I hope to go there one of these days.

Well, Monday we got new electives and I have beginner keyboarding 6th hour and it's so not cool. This creepy guy next to me keeps looking over at me and will not shut up! My guy friend told him to leave me alone and he sat somewhere else today. Thank you Brice!

7th hour I have vocal, nothing new there, I've had it all year The new thing is--we got a new teacher--she's so cool and has got the quirkiest outlook. She's cool and young, maybe around 26ish and from Alaska.

Not much happening on my end for now. We are about to head on over to have a birthday party for my great grandma. She will be 85. Don't think about hearing from me till about Saturday. I have to clean my room. It's bad--I can't see my floor anymore...

Be safe and have a good day!

Oops!

Sorry 'bout that, here is my artwork.-

TGIF!!!

(1/5/07) Thank God it's Friday!!! I mean, who doesn't love Fridays? Well, I love them at least. I'm out of school for the weekend and am in 2nd place for our Geography-bee. Similar to a Spelling-bee, you just don't spell... Anyway, I'm really good at it and only missed 1 question. I'm very happy. I hope I get to compete outside the elimination rounds. I get all the had questions. My homeroom teacher, Mr.G., is SO cool and funny! Gotta wuv him!

Anyway, like I said in an earlier post (for those of you actually read them...) I write stories online and just finished one by the way. It's called 'Dragon Within'. It's about TenTen and her team. So I asked my English teacher, MrsR., to proof read it for me and she agreed. I'm one of those people who does a half way job and doesn't really try and gets a good grade anyway, or I go overboard and still get a good grade. So, I made cover art for my story so it doesn't look just like a boring draft. Here is my free handed work on paint, no, not paint shop, paint.

What do you think?

1907 Costume Ball; the outcome

(1/2/07) Well, Sunday night me and mom went to the costume ball at our new history center (How can a history center be new???) and I had a very good time, excepting mom saying every ten minutes, "It would be funner if Dub was here...". The museum curator kept asking me to dance, I did once, but met some new friends and politely said no thank you when he asked again.

My new friend Sheri, who is only a little younger than myself, had her sister's date dance the two step waltz with me and we did. It was amusing seeing as he was at least a foot taller than me, maybe 1 1/2 foot taller. We danced and then me and Sheri hung out by the punch bowl. My hair kept falling down, and it drove me to the sheer point of insanity until I let it be. After words, I was asked to dance, allot.

My mom met one of her old friends from high school and he asked me to dance. I said yes since we knew him. We got to lead the Virgina Reel. It looks complicated, but it actually wasn't. Over all we had allot of fun and had an amazing time watching the fireworks from downtown at midnight. It's going to be one heck of a good year if I have anything to say about it.

Who is that?!

(01/01/07) Happy New Year! You my be asking who is that cartoon on my picture? That, my friends, is TenTen. She is a supporting character on my favorite show, Naruto.

Naruto is about a boy (12-13) who wants to become the greatest ninja of all time and become the Hokage (leader) of his village (It's like a city-state). The reason I used her is because she is my animated look alike (excepting eye color)! We're quite a bit alike in some ways. And for the record, the other person she's with is Neji, yeah, he's a guy.

This is a picture of Naruto made be some fan. Nauto Uzumaki is his name. He's about 12 right now. Why does he have whisker marks? Simple, he has an ancient demon fox inside him! (Kyuubi; Nine Tailed Fox are the 2 names allotted) He can be very annoying at times, but he won't give up, ever!
So, hoped you like today's blog. Until, whenever, Miss Dub.
