Well, after a couple of months i finally did it. I have created the DBZ (Dragon Ball Z) version of SgtDub, I tried to draw a realist-er version, and it's taking me forever to color! So here is the Comical SgtDub by his own daughter. Hope you like it.
I scanned it after I drew it with pencil, then I popped it onto paint, and colored it for what seemed like an eternity!
Pencil sketch: 10 min.
Coloring: 4 hours
Background: 2 min.
Can you see the difference? I mean, totally awesome picture and a really crappy bg, it's bugging me so bad, i might fix it later on, but not now.
Anyway, i better get off soon, i have to help out my grandparents with a garage sale tomorrow morning, ugh, i wanna sleep in!!!
Well, be safe and have a good day, hope you like it Dub!
p.s. I recommend that you click on the pic so it enlarges, it's allot better to see everything that way, and it's not so fuzzy.

A very good likeness, of course, I have hair, duh.
Yes, daddy needs a little more hair -- at least on his chest, nose and knuckles!
Well done!
I am impressed!!!
Thanks, Bells and Eddy are gettin along great, he's almost kicked his habit of nipping at me.
great job. go to www.blender.org to get a free open source graphics program.
great job, the dubster is looking good.
Great job Miss Dub! Your Dad is very proud of you and loves your drawing. Is there an artist career in your future?
I'm sure you are also counting the days until your Dad gets home . . . that will be a great reunion, huh?
Keep on drawing!
I was ordered to come over via Sgt Dub's page! Well, not really but I thought I'd stop by anyway!
My daughter was wondering whether you had colored your drawing using a Paint Program. She does her own drawings and has a good eye for that sort of thing.
Tell your Dad when he gets home that you need some Prisma-Color markers if you're going to be a serious artist. They are expensive but they're the best out there!
Great Job Miss Dub! The painting is awesome and I agree with Linda, the Prisma markers are great... My son has a set of the markers and I love playing with them... Thanks for sharing, Shann
Hey guys, thanks for your comments, as the pic, I used the regular "paint" that's available on pretty much every normal computer, it took forever! Curse scanners!!! I'm trying to talk Dub into getting me that Paint Shop Pro that a lot of people over at deviantart.com use. It's awesome! I would settle for a pen mouse tho. Anything right now would be great, the time spent on the clothes took the longest, i had to go through and color the entire thing [pants & jackets] in the same color, then go through and I believe did 5 different shades to spray paint the camo on. I colored the boots first, then the face, then the rest of the skin, patches, pockets, shirt, pants, relined it, sprayed the jacket, relined that, and then did the world's worst bg! It took a while.
You did an excellent job. Wish I had the patience for such stuff.
Great job! I hate it that I have to read your blog site to know what you want. Have you ever thought about talking to me?
Like I said, blender is free and has a lot of tutorials online. You may have to upgrade your video card. http://www.blender.org/features-gallery/gallery/images/ here are some pics done in blender
Sgt sent me over to see the pic, glad he did, it's awesome!! Very nice job - sounds like you'll have to add glasses to it now though. LOL
Going to make a career in the artistic line?
I remember that a new box of crayons used to turn me on! Wow, now it's Prisma Markers and Paint Shop!!! It is a great time to be creative, isn't it!
Cool stuff and I love the way it looks when you enlarge it. You have a great eye for detail. Don't do like I did and get married at 17 and give up your art until years later...
Accutally, no. I'm planning on being an interpreter in Spanish and Japanese. I really love speaking in different lanuages. It's soo cool!
I've never been the kind to like crayons. Too messy and they never color what I want them to color when I want to color there. It's frustrating, my attention span isn't that long. lol.
I hope to try out those markers soon. Thanks for the idea!
I got meme'd (is that a word?) by my friend over at A Schmitty Life and you've been selected for it's next victim!
INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the blog in the top spot from the following list and bump everyone up one place. Then add your blog to the bottom slot, like so:

2) Mom of 2 and Wife of 1
3) BlondeMomBlog
4) It's A Schmitty Life
5) Life is short, buy the shoes
What an artist! Great work!
Thank you
